Maulers Join League

Hi hockey fans…
I thought you’d be interested in knowing more about what’s happening at the new Missoula Mauler’s Jounior hockey team. Here is an excerpt from a recent Email sent out by their organization.
Keep thinking hockey!
“Hey Maulers Fans!!!!!!!!
Well, it has been too long since our last update, and we have a ton
of things that have been happening! First and foremost, we have applied
to and have been accepted into the Northern Pacific Hockey League
(NORPAC). We will be playing against teams in; Butte, Bozeman, Billings, Helena , Cody, WY, Coeur d’ Alene, ID, Tri Cities, WA, Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Medford, and Tacoma.
We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a Try-out
camp August 7 th -11th at the rink during the Western Montana Fair. If
you are ages 15-20, make sure you visit the website and complete the tryout
application. We will have a booth there as well all week where you
can meet our mascot, purchase tickets and try on some Maulers’apparel.
On another note, plans have been finalized and the rink construction
will commence the day after the ice is lifted. We plan on having seating
for over 1800 people as well as a second story area that can be rented for
groups. There will be also be a concessions stand built so you can
feast while you watch the Mauler’s take on their opponents.”
Looks like we’re in for a whole new level of hockey in Missoula.
